HCG Diets For All
Phase one is broken down into three smaller phases, which include
- Loading Phase- During the first three days, you can eat whatever you want. It is encouraged to eat all of your favorite foods during this phase because you will not be able to enjoy them for the next three weeks. You being taking the hormone on the first day so that it can be in your system when you start the next part of this phase.
- Core Phase- This part of phase one lasts between 21 and 38 days. During this phase, you will continue to take the hormone, but restrict yourself to only 500 calories a day.
- Taper Phase- During the last three days, the hormone is not taken so that it can slowly work its way out of your system.
- After Phase 1, the next two phases are for stabilizing and maintaining your body weight. The only restriction during these phases is to avoid starch; otherwise, you can begin to eat normally again.

Before starting this diet, be sure to read about the common HCG diet phases. Many people have suffered from headaches, blood clots, nausea, vomiting, water retention and several other symptoms as though they were pregnant. Also reported, temporary hair loss has also been known to occur while partaking in the HCG diet plan. In severe cases, some women may experience ovarian hyper stimulation syndrome. This causes the ovaries to swell and eventually release fluid into the abdomen causing pain.
