Stress is a health catastrophe. Stress can cause a number of health problems, and significantly worsen already established diseases and conditions. For some people, stress is obvious. It can start out innocently enough, through a feeling of being overwhelmed, but can manifest into physical pain and symptoms in no time. The experienced patient will know when stress is causing the symptoms, but for many patients, they will be completely unaware that the symptoms they are experiencing are caused by stress. Stress can feel like an asthma attack, heart attack, and much more. Headaches and insomnia are another sign of stress. Nutritional therapy and even the natural treatment insulin potentiated therapy have been known to treat a number of conditions, but can’t necessarily treat stress.

Culprit

Stress can actually lead to more serious conditions such as high blood pressure, heart disease, obesity, diabetes, and much more. Each of these diseases can lead to fatality if not managed, resultantly, stress can indirectly be fatal to your health. Benefits of lymphatic drainage massage are abundant and can help relieve stress, but the therapy is not a way to treat stress. PEMF therapy can treat depression, which in turn, benefits patients suffering from stress as well. To prevent stress, take care of your total health (mind, body and spirit) and in turn, less stress will be healthier for you. Start by giving yourself a break away from your normal routine, every week. Consider yoga, spiritual healing, meditation, or a therapeutic massage.

Here are a few therapies that can reduce stress:

  • Aromatherapy – Scents that can activate emotions and thoughts, which could help the patient relax.
  • Acupuncture – A method of energy healing which can help the patient relax during, and give more energy afterwards.
  • Yoga – Yoga is meant for the mind, body, and spirit. Clear your mind, and while you work on your body, connect with your spirit.

Yoga and Other Therapies

Yoga, as opposed to popular belief, is actually meant to work on the body, mind, and spirit. Most people assume that yoga is only a spiritual practice, and well, that’s just not the case. Yoga has been under scrutiny in the US and other parts of the world, deemed “cultural appropriation” but yoga had been brought to the world by the Indians. Yoga, even in India, is more than a spiritual practice – and if you ask Indians living in India, it does not count as cultural appropriation. So ease your mind. When you practice yoga, you are not doing wrong. Yoga is meant to help you keep your body healthy, your mind clear, and your spirit connected!
