Taking care of yourself and your overall health is not easy. Conventional medicine may seem easy, until you are returning to the doctor several times a year for the same things. If you want to heal yourself and stay out of the doctor’s office, turn to natural medicine and alternative therapies. Alternative therapy is a specific kind of therapy that is not defined within standard or modern medicine. In this particular medical field, doctors, nurses, and everyone practices standard care, but treats with alternative medicine and therapies. While some doctors do not agree with alternative medicine, some promote it – as it is the key to preventing illness and promoting wellness.
Medical Ozone Therapy
Medical Ozone Therapy is one of many alternative therapies which aims to significantly increase the amount of oxygen within the body. This therapy has been used to treat Cancer (much like Neruofeedback therapy for ADHD) AIDS, and many others – though scientifically, there is no evidence to prove that this treatment cures any disease. Ozone treatments should be done only by a specialist at a specialized treatment center. As high concentrations of Ozone can be dangerous, it is important the treatment is performed by a professional. Ask your doctor if ozone therapy is the best alternative treatment option for you.
Other alternative medicines can include:
- Energy Medicine
- Traditional Chinese Medicine
- Indian Ayurvedic medicine
Lipid therapy, or fat therapy, falls into the highly controversial topic, as it entails an injection and otherwise expulsion of lipids and fats. Specialists claim this therapy can improve cognitive and even memory function. For this procedure, patients are injected with high-density animal fat, every week for two months. Lipid therapy should not be attempted by patients with high blood pressure. Before starting lipid therapy, ask your doctor if it is right for you.
Another therapy is Reiki, an alternative therapy developed in Japan in the early 1900’s. Reiki practitioners believe that they transfer energy (or “chi”) to the patient during this therapy. Reiki, like acupuncture, works to dislodge any blocked energy, and restore vitality to the patient. It is a spiritual practice that works hand in hand with other therapies to promote mind, body, and spiritual health.
